Transportation and Climate of Egypt
It should be noted that Cairo is the only place in Africa and the Arab world that has subway. The hours of operation ranges from 5 to 30 in the morning until midnight. In the summertime the metro runs until one o’clock.
The climate in Egypt can be a problem if you visit in bad weather, the holiday season is ideal for autumn and winter, with temperatures ranging between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius. In April, sandstorms and winds make it nearly impossible to view, so are not recommended walks in the summertime the sun is quite strong and the weather is dry. Rain arrives in Alexandria between December and February, also feels the cold so frequent. Winter and autumn are the month of October to April.
