Surely when you think of Tanzania comes to mind the famous safaris. True, travel agencies usually offer us the most common drive: the Serengeti National Park. Certainly it is a spectacular park, but not the only area. On this occasion we give you the opportunity to meet other fabulous and little-known national park in Tanzania. This is the Ruaha National Park. This park has an area of 10.300 square kilometers. How to get here? Very simple you only need to travel 130 kilometers by bus from the town of Iringa.

Why Ruaha park is called? The park takes its name from the Ruaha River, which flows along the park.

Ruaha National Park was declared a protected area since early last century when the Germans still ruled. Later half of the twentieth century, British rule was also responsible for maintaining the care of the park.

What animals can be seen while on a safari in Ruaha? Well anyway we will see elephants living here since a large population of elephants coming to create a colony of 10.000. Not only that.
