The island has only one international airport known as the International Airport Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam, which caters to all international travelers in Mauritius. Another way to enter the island is by sea. Most of the import and export of cargo is carried by ships sailing to some of the destinations in the neighboring island of Reunion Island, Rodrigues and Madagascar.
