Visas for travel to Morocco, Egypt and Tunisia
One of my unfinished business, as travel is concerned, is Africa.
I have not set foot on this fascinating continent where our species began to evolve. I have heard and read stories of travelers who have not done more than fan the flame of adventure that runs inside and increase the desire to step on that land chaotic, breathtaking landscapes, unstable governments – and, unfortunately, often bloody and cruel – temperatures and extreme conditions, people of thousands of ethnic groups, cultures and religions, and wild nature. In fact, my current book nightstand is The Long Way Down, written by Ewan McGregor – Obi Wan Kenobi for Star Wars freaks like me – and Charlie Boorman – the kid from La Selva Esmeralda for big film fans like me, I am fan of Antonio Gasset and Film Days program. In the book recount the bike ride from the northern tip of Scotland to the southernmost point of the African continent Cape Agulhas). For now I recommend it.
So if you too are you in love with Africa, or simply think you are curious and visit soon: here’s information on the requirements for entry and stay in some of the countries of the African mosaic. Soon we will try to cover the entire continent by facilitating the work to travelers. Read the rest of this entry »

Where to eat in Dahab
Dahab is the second tourist destination par excellence in the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt and, fortunately, much remains to be exploited. The beach at Dahab is built mainly in the south with a few shops and restaurants with fish and other Egyptian food.
I spent four nights in Dahab and except for a tour devoted myself mainly to dive and fill your belly with delicious fresh fish. Upon exiting the water at the end of the day was hungry and easy hospitality of the place was ideal for both the stomach and the pocket.
The first day I hit a good binge in the World: A restaurant that, like most others, I agreed with the chef what to eat for 60 dinars looking silver gleaming fish and seafood on ice. The truth is that the dish that arrived was much more than I expected: starters, a delicious fish accompanied by squid, rice and vegetables. Moreover, with unparalleled sea views.

DahabLos restaurant other restaurants Dahab’s main promenade work the same way. They specialize in seafood. No need to take a look at the menu, you round up the price at the entrance to the chef. You will be putting on a tray that will cook for you according to the price you are interested in paying. They also include appetizers, desserts and whether racing or a shisha and a good tea.
Among the best I discovered the world, Cappone and Ali Baba.
If you repeat one of them will surely be much more generous to the plate. We spent especially in the Cappone. You will see the guys on the doors of the restaurants are fully agree to move its customers.
For something more affordable, not to exceed the 30 pounds in the street you will find local Mashraba Egyptian kebabs, kefta and other indigenous meals.
Ascension to Mount Sinai in Egypt

During my second day in Dahab I decided to take a tour to visit the Greek Orthodox monastery of Santa Catalina. Located at the foot of Jebel Musa, Mount Sinai where Moses stood up tables of the 10 commandments in the Bible crucial point that globalization the three monotheistic religions of the world.
The tour has included a visit to the monastery and the ascent of Mount Sinai. There are two different types of tour: the night to climb the peak at night to see sunrise from the top (not recommended in winter the cold and the wind hits) and one day where he made a visit to montasterio by morning and begins the ascent in the afternoon to watch the sunset at the top.
The day before I went to three travel agencies to check prices and I kept the 100 pounds that was offered in the past, the entrance to the monastery, however, was not included in what should be adding 18 pounds more.
City holy monastery of Santa Catalina is a Greek protectorate in the heart of Egypt. This is an Orthodox monastery of the oldest in the world that is still inhabited. It lies at the foot of Mount Sinai and is a particularly holy place revered by the Greek Orthodox community. Read the rest of this entry »
