The beach of the town extends in an arc of circle of 3.5 km. with golden sand surrounded by spa establishments that offer rest and relaxation. In this place, the sea and the sky merge in only a light.

Achakar, near Cape Spartel Beach, turns towards the Atlantic Ocean and the setting sun, to admire in the twilight when the horizon is colored pink and the plants give off aromas.

One of the most extraordinary works of Tangier is the large Teatro Cervantes, which characterizes the charm of a happy artistic existence at the beginning of the last century.

Built in 1911, by idea of Doña Esperanza Orellana, was the pride of Tangier and the cultural and artistic Center of excellence. The great Cervantes theatre was also the perfect place for great evenings, end of year festivities and the place of Central meetings until the 1950s.

Created in 1941, the library of the Instituto Cervantes is the Spanish library largest in Africa, called since 2007 library “Juan Goytisolo”, in homage to the famous Spanish writer. The library of the Instituto Cervantes in Tangier has more than 100 000 works and Visual documents in Spanish, in the areas of literature and Sciences.

Tangier and its region, represents one of the vestiges of a glorious past, as shown by its monuments and sites such as the kasbah (Fortress), the caves of Hercules and Lixus of Tamuda.
Overlooking the Mediterranean, in the meeting of the ocean sea and at the junction of the roads between the North and the South, Tangier extends a magnificent Bay at the foot of the green hills.

The waters of the Mediterranean and the Atlantic mingle at the foot of Tangier, European, Arab and African culture are interwoven in this place. People multilingual, mild climate, beaches, and lush Mediterranean vegetation make the city of the Strait in a privileged tourist destination.

Without a doubt, one of the most beautiful regions of Morocco expected tourists from all over the world to amaze with its landscapes, its culture and its characteristic society.

If you enjoy nature and everything that she can give us, this National Park is located in Kenya may be the ideal destination to enjoy a dream holiday. Among the destinations in Africa Kenya is famous for being one of those who preserved and takes care of its natural resources and their species, care that has brought him many fruits already that thousands of tourists choose annually thanks to the enormous amount that they have national parks them. Among the favorite parks of foreign tourists is first the Malindi Marine Park, recognized throughout Africa for being the first marine park which opened on the territory of Kenya.

The creation of this park was not immediately assigned to tourism, but it was a project which had as bases the conservation of marine resources which were in the region, particularly marine species. The creation of this park was intended to increase the level of awareness among the population about the care and protection of the species, a consciousness that was making ever-greater and which ended with the creation of many reserves and parks that they currently have the same importance as the Malindi Marine Park. In addition to the amount of beautiful landscapes that can be seen within the park there is a place for entertainment, Malindi Marine is famous for having a huge proposal for water activities for all travellers who want to do extreme sports and fun, a proposal that includes sports such as snorkeling and diving.

Although its name many people mistake the territory it covers, the Niger River not only crosses the country to which it homonymy, this river rises in Guinea across the countries of Mali , Nigeria and Benin , where it empties into a large delta , making it the main river throughout Africa Occidental. Furthermore it is the third longest river in the whole of Africa, surpassed only by the Nile and the Congo River.

It is noteworthy that the increased use given to this river is commercial, becoming the main means of communication and transport, and exchange of goods between countries in the area.

As for the name of the river, there is the question of whether it originates Latin word niger or phrase comes from the Tuareg origin “gher gher n” (“river of rivers”).

In its history, the Niger River will cause several problems for many centuries great explorers of Europe , who came to regard the main artery of Lake Chad and even as the mythical source of the Nile. These explorers called him illogical and incomprehensible because they did not know the way and it confused with the above.

It was not until 1786 when the Scot Mungo Park was given the value it deserved and first mentioned in his travel book “Travels in the Interior of Africa”, yet it took several years for the explorers learn that flowed into the Gulf of Guinea.

On the banks of the Niger River about twenty-one ethnic groups have survived thanks to its waters and the communication can be between them. Among the ethnic groups that live there are the sorho, Songhai, Malinke and Wangara and the Ogoni.

One thing to take into account the flow of the river has grown in the fall season, to return to the minimum channel between the spring and summer.

Today has found that up to Niger in the west, there is a town that could be thousands of years old, but in the same area, a huge oil field, which has caused problems for this people who could be eradicated. To his credit worldwide charities have intervened, but it is feared that the huge profits that may hold as much oil are conflicting ideals.

This country is south of Africa has much to offer tourists with varied tastes, the beauty of its landscapes and the relevance of its main tourism destinations of the continent is very prominent.

If we talk about Zimbabwe obviously can not fail to mention the Victoria Falls , the most famous of the continent and one of the world’s most famous. The landscape presents us with this waterfall is unique as all the beauty that is this wonderful country, visitors can meet and quieter pictures drawn by its immensity, and the more adventurous can sail its waters and discover the magic of these falls from the front row.

If the traveler who knows Zimbabwe is deeply interested in discovering African culture at its best, we consider very important alert about something: Zimbabwe is the African country more influenced by Western culture, therefore not able to discover a large presence of African culture that it can be seen in other African countries. One of the few African customs which still exist in parts of the country such as polygamy.

Another spell that has this country and is often of interest to tourists who know first is the continued presence of music and its legends, which are sung to the beat of drums and reveal one of the richest parts of the country.

To the southwest of Africa is a country that has the most impressive dunes in the world, if they are ready to discover it can buckle up and begin to delve into the cultures of the world’s most interesting .
To begin our journey we will drive to the town called Swakopmund , west of the country. This wonderful territory that has no more and no less than 35,000 inhabitants is the birthplace of the world’s highest sand dunes and then we will tell you that other beauties can be found in this city so special.

As the first resort in the country made, this is one of the cities that retained its colonial architecture that has a strong German influence. This speaks of a style unparalleled and incredible beauty in the landscapes of the city that just simply make their buildings and some hints of vegetation along the main streets of Swakopmund. Obviously, this German style in its construction is not chance, and this has to do with a settlement that the city suffered in their native conformation and that left us today a total influence of culture, language and blood of many people living today.

Returning what caught our attention immediately: the dunes of Namibia and all the tourism they bring to this wonderful African country. The dunes form a landscape that is unforgettable and attractive to any human eye, the perfect combination that generates the desert territory with the plains of place make this area one of the leading ecotourism destinations in the world.

If we talk about epic places within the African continent, we could say that the Great Rift Valley is one of the most epic and highlights. This immensity covering 4830 kilometers is one of the most visited tourist places by tourists and then we’ll tell you why.

What most people confuse with simple rock formations and mountains , valleys are actually the product of the expansion of crust that achieves this kind of “cracks” in the ground and lets us see at a glance all the original rock formation is land within it, there is the main difference with this type of valleys with the hills and mountains. Although not originally usually called Rift Valley only training that belongs to African soil, the valley also extends to the Red Sea and the Jordan River Valley.

This wonderful site that attracted the attention of UNESCO when naming a World Heritage Site is also an important reference point for tourists from all over the world for tourism, and for this reason that this valley is more than ready to receive visitors from all over the world and deliver the best services to all types of travelers who choose it.

Tanzania geography presents a melting pot of landscapes in which we can find from one of the most spectacular plain that nature shows us as in the Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater, not to mention the white sand beaches in the island of Zanzibar.

Serengeti National Park offers the wilder side of nature, the struggle for survival of the animals. A fight begins with the migration. And they come and go more than a million wildebeest and zebra across the plains of the park is not lost to predators such as lions and hyenas. A spectacle of nature in its wildest in which survival is the only end. It is a World Heritage Site since 1981.

Ngorongoro Crater creates a set only imagined in dreams. And is that buffaloes, hyenas, lions, black rhino or live together in this place. In the midst of a volcanic crater 600 meters deep and more than 20 kilometers in diameter. This area was declared a World Heritage Site in 1979.

And the island of Zanzibar with its main city, Stone towmas or “Stone City”, which in 2000 was declared World Heritage by UNESCO. Its white sand beaches make the island a heavenly setting. It is famous for the production of spices such as vanilla, cinnamon or cloves.

Three very different landscapes in Tanzania, but with something in common, they are all World Heritage Site.

If you are tired of the Caribbean coast and want to enjoy the beach and the sun on a completely different from anything you saw previously, Cape Verde is the place and then we will tell you the beauty that is this archipelago which lies off the coast of Senegal.

An important point for all tourists who choose to add the island to the list of places to know, is that the native language is Portuguese, this is mainly because it was colonized by the Portuguese in the fifteenth century, unfortunately at that time intentions of the Portuguese colonizers were basically turning the island into a center of slave trade. The reality today in the island is much happier than their genesis, but the fact is that all people are part of the mix at that time was generated from the native race and settlers.

Something I really enjoy the tourists and reveals the combination of cultures that is the island today is music, because it is one of the main means of expression and of African people as they often call the Cape Verdean residents of this archipelago. Researchers and specialists in this island are also an important source of knowledge, with more than 3251 are typical of the region and can not be found anywhere else in the world, the fauna and flora, making this place something unique to the discovery and contact with nature.
