The Beautiful Architecture
South of Brazil in the state of Santa Catarina, is a piece of German territory, as the population of this area is made up of foreign immigrants, especially Europeans, including Germans.
Thus, in the Itajaí Valley, we know cities like Blumenau, Brusque and Pomerode that preserve culture and traditions of immigrants who settled the region.
This reverence Germanic is visible in the beautiful architecture of its houses, traditional cuisine, handicrafts and festivals, in the blue eyes and blond hair of its population.
Blumenau is the center of the Germanic enclave. Being the largest textile center in Brazil, famous for its crystal and porcelain, this beautiful resort town is located on the banks of the Rio Itajaí-Açu. With wide avenues adorned with traditional buildings, bridges that hug the river and lively pubs hospitable host, and is a very interesting destination for cultural tourism in Brazil.
For its part, Brusque is known as the “City of Fabrics.” It is the largest center of “pret-à-porter” costume of southern Brazil. It has attractions ranging from its architecture and typical German cuisine to the Cavern of Botuverá in its surroundings, one of the most beautiful in the country.

Brazil has the most spectacular carnivals in the world crowded. And the carnival of Bahia is one of them.
While Salvador is a place to breathe and culture festival every year, the carnival begins this year on 16 February.
Carnival in Bahia is very different to the carnival in Rio, as in Salvador, people are more players than spectators, the carnival takes place in the street and music of African descent is the star of this popular festival.
The Blocos are the bases of the carnival groups, on the one hand, there are the blocos afro are those who play the drums mounted on a truck or carriage of which the most prominent and are Ile Aiye, Malé Debal, Olodum and Muzenza
On the other hand the main attraction of the carnival are the electric trios that are huge trucks equipped with lights and sound, over which they sing and dance some of the Bahia sets fashion. Following the power trio, is the bloco, a group of people who pay a sum of money to participate in it, they wear a shirt-called abbot, “that sets it apart and allows you to enjoy the show from near the trio, in a cord or Cordão.
